Childhood Creek

I visited the creek with my friends from home this past weekend to see how much it has changed and it has a lot. My friends and I use to build big dams so water collects and there would be a block and we would make sure there was a big tree next to it so that we can make a rope swing. We always did it when it rain a lot or if there was a hurricane. But as you see their isn't anything exciting happening anymore : (

My Own Tropical Jungle

In my own backyard at my house 20 minutes away from Ringling in Lake Sarasota Neighborhood. My Dad grow a lot of different plants from different parts of the tropics. We grow papaya, mangos, lime, lemon, oranges, organo, sweet peppers, tomatos, sweet potatoes, yam, pineapple(last two years) and a mixed breed between lemon and orange. In my garden i have two water barrels so that my dad always has water to water his plants with. Anyways when the other day when i went back home help my dad move a couple plants around as i was walking by one of the barrels there was a tone of tadpoles in the water wait to become little frogs!! I remember as a little kid how i loved to see them grow everyday and become into a real frog!

Memories

Oak Park

For many year I have loved going out to Oak park and just play disc golf with friends. Sometimes my friends and i just have a BBQ out there and just throw the frisbee around and talking about life. I love how there is a small forest/swamp/lake right next to my house there are many trees and even there was a alligator one time but they called it in and got someone to take it away because there is a district school right next to the lake. When i was younger i remember camping out at oak park for a weekend to get a badge in boyscouts, we also got to canoe in the lake itself which was awesome when i was younger!

Sunshine and sand

So My friends and I this week decided to go to the beach this week! I don't enjoy lido that much so we went to Siesta Key where it's always great to see the beautiful white sand! I love playing volleyball and it's the main reason i always go the beach is the play sport with friends. I enjoy tennis, volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee and just like throwing the football around too..ooo yaa can't forget soccer too! Anyways we went to the beach and as we were going into the water I noticed as i was in the water..that there were some sand dollars in the water!!! I took one out and showed it to my friends which were new to town. What i didn't like about it was there were these little spicy things that love to attach to you and your clothes.
